Beans and Treasures is located in the heart of Erickson, at 43 Main Street. The building has had many owners and transformations over the years, from a pharmacy to liquor store, to a hair salon. Erickson is bustling with great business and is the place to see and visit, stay and live, and just have a great time. Previous owners Bud & Linda Seens purchased the building in 2004 and had developed the store into is present day format. New owner, Annie Soto, continues the tradition of the store with many new ideas on the horizon.

Beans & Treasures is unique in that you can browse the gift shop while sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee or a bite to eat.

The Clear Lake Golf Course was built in two stages commencing in 1928. Renowned architect Stanley Thompson may have played a part in designing the first nine holes. The back nine followed quickly in the early 1930’s and was designed by Park Superintendent Smart and greens keeper Vic Creed.

The complete course was open for play in the spring of 1934. Relief Workers during the Great Depression supplied labor for the back nine, and at the time the green fees were set at fifty cents. An annual golfing membership was available for husband and wife for the princely sum of $15.00 per couple.

The Golf Professional for the day was well-known Johnnie Lawrence who continued in that capacity for 43 years until his retirement in 1976. Local tradespeople built the Clubhouse, which is registered as a Heritage Building, in 1933.

We are situated in Riding Mountain National Park at the east end of Clear Lake. The course remains one of the most unique and beautiful courses in the Province. The course is within 10 minutes of the commercial district and any of the lodges in the area. When driving north along highway #10, turn left at the end of the lake and the gates will invite you in.

Family operated since 1978, the Pizza Place is located in downtown Clear Lake. Although pizza is our specialty, our menu covers a diverse range to satisfy nearly any appetite. Sportsman’s RV Park has 150 campsites. 55 of them are new sites that are 30’ X 70’ feet. We are now taking seasonal bookings as well as nightly, weekly and monthly.

The Scream N Bean Gourmet Coffee & Ice Cream offers cold stone ice cream, fresh baked waffle cones, any coffee or tea you can imagine.

An official Clear Lake Happy Place! Across from the beach with a great view of the lake and sunsets, the Boardwalk on Clear Lake is a full service ice cream parlour serving the creamiest of ice cream, sundaes, twisters, NSA and non-dairy products. TR McKoy's Italian Restaurant

Established a short 10 years ago by Trevor and Diane Gowler. This restaurant has quickly become one of the "must visit" places of Riding Mountain National Park. The decor is naturally rustic, being set within the south annex of the Park Theatre Complex. It is well accented by the keen eye of Diane Gowler who has created a warm and inviting environment . The same success has been accomplished by the culinary expertise of the other half of the duo, Trevor Gowler. The food quality, presentation and variety has established a reputation far beyond the boundaries of the townsite.

Also watch out for special events happening regularly throughout the summer including such things as "The Magic of Anders", Jazz trios and sponsored Chamber of Commerce activities.

Built in 1929 by the Gusdal Bros., the Wigwam Restaurant has been firmly entrenched as a significant part of Clear Lake history. It was the first commercial building to be built in this area and was named the Wigwam by Mrs. Lillian Gusdal. A Wigwam refers to an oval or round bark covered shelter used as a meeting place, and how apt a name, as the Wigwam has become a summer meeting place, not only for locals, but for people from around the world. One of its more prominent guests was legendary Grey Owl and some say you can still see the notches left in the was from his expert knife throwing.

The original intent of the Wigwam was to serve as a restaurant but throughout the years it has also substituted as a dance hall, church, meeting hall, and barracks. The Wigwam, now in its eighth decade, still serves up home style food, as well as liquid libations. Above all, it remains a meeting place for friends and maintains its friendly service and comforts of home.

In 1992, the Wigwam was designated a Provincial Heritage Site and has been undergoing extensive restoration work and renovations since 1993.
