Why should your employees participate in the Ambassador program?

Who was Grey Owl? What is the National Historic Site in Riding Mountain? How do we balance tourism with human use? Name 10 things that visitors can see and do while in Riding Mountain National Park. These are just a few of the questions that staff are able to answer after they’ve participated in the two-hour Riding Mountain National Park & Area Ambassador Program.

When staff are able to answer a customer’s question with knowledge and confidence, the level of visitor satisfaction increases. When staff are inspired to learn more about Riding Mountain, they gain a sense of pride in their new community.

Riding Mountain’s Ambassador Program is “a fun, interactive and free training program that teaches employees of local business about Riding Mountain’s unique area, allowing them to share new-found knowledge with visitors”. Visitors appreciate well informed, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable staff.
